On the 16th of Novermber 2019 Captain Fanplastic teamed up with the Beach Co-op and Wavescape to do a massive clean-up in Strandfontein Pavilion Beach. After the storytelling and learning about the im
pact of plastic pollution in our oceans, twenty wonderful little pirates from 9Miles Projects had a successful treasure hunt.
The children proved themselves worthy to be part of our crew by collecting a grand total of 47,4 kg of waste, thereafter the little pirates had the opportunity to trade their trash for treasure at the SeasideScavenge Preloved goods shop
